but i don't think they've really hit it at all.Īlso, not having an armor crit item is a real hole, and losing the ability to make hexdrinker into maw sucks a lot. if they actually increase stats so adcs are more useful early/mid, trading away the late power is worth it which was their stated goal.
IE still being mandatory except now at 3rd item just makes the builds feel really awkward imo. which again wouldn't be so bad but with everyone else's damage going way up it's even harder to stay relevant. like 7 champs in the game that actually lost damage after this rework, and almost all of them were crit ADCs. and before you finish IE it's even worse. before you'd have 75% crit at 225% damage with 3400 + 2600 + 2600 buys and have 2 slots to buy utility with. The problem with that design imo is that it ramps the power so far into late game. Second item I am always getting Navori Quickblades which feels amazing, then IE and/or whatever utility items seem necessary (grievous wounds, armor pen, etc) I couldn't tell you if this is a better choice than being more tanky to begin with and as such being able to be bolder with positioning. For survivability I rely on my positioning, my roots, my ult, and on the lifesteal from my Legend: Lifesteal rune. I'm using Kraken Slayer to have more damage, since I really want all that attack speed to get my feathers out. I haven't tried gale force yet because I shouldn't be given incentive to use a movement ability to go forward instead of kiting back I already get too aggro. If we're even skill and they're playing something lane dominant, I just try to cs but not aggress much. In order to elevate my Xayah game I should see how I can play to win lane, but I'm not there yet, unless the other adc is notably worse than me. My goal on Xayah is to go even in lane, given even adc skill (win if my support is better than theirs) but be active/helpful in early game skirmishes over dragon and to really dominate teamfights from 2 items onward both by high dps and by rooting their whole frontline. I think it's exactly as you said, likely better in lane than lethal tempo but worse for late game damage. I'm playing low-elo normals though where if you stomp lane it tends to end the game regardless, and I wonder if I'm sacrificing to much late game power by ditching Lethal Tempo. I'm especially enjoying that my Aspd boost kicks in immediately for the Q->AA->E combo in quick trades. How do you feel about that setup? It feels nice and meaty in lane. For Mythic I go Gale force generally or Shieldbow if there's a lot of dive. Probably the answer is to play Lux support so you get a bunch of mana regen from your support item and then you can happily buy Night Harvester :P But then what do I play mid (.literally anyone On Xayah I've been trying out Hail of Blades/Taste of Blood/Eyeball/Ravenous with Presence of Mind/Bloodline. If it's 40 sec CD instead of 26 sec CD it sometimes feels too dangerous to cavalierly use ult the way I want to. The part that I find most upsetting about the itemization changes for Lux is actually the lack of CDR-I'm not hitting as much CDR as fast, and a big part of my Lux play is waveclearing with my ult for map control. Yeah, the question is, does my gameplay style match the gameplay style that causes people to win more with Ludens-not sure. she needs that lost chapter to stretch through the early game.Īccording to stats, wr is a bit lower on night harvester, but still seems viable. night harvester + tear is probably not terrible once you get therre, but the build path for is much worse for lux. Lux is so mana hungry that idk how night harvester would work. I mostly one trick karthus most seasons to gold and then just play aram anymore myself. Mute all and play whatever mode makes you happy. I've had multiple accounts banned because people start talking at me and I engage when I'm drunk. The sad truth is all the modes are toxic and can be that way just because of the player base. It's either a team of 3 who are going to hang up, or a couple duos. Basically if you think it will make you feel better go for it, though do note that there can be large skill gaps.Īgreed on if it makes you feel less stressed, play it. I'd suggest /muteall regardless if you have anxiety, but while most people take Flex less seriously you can climb to the same place as your "regular" placement without too much trouble. If it makes you less stressed than Solo / Duo, then sure. I just don't know if spamming normals is helping or hurting at this point. If I'm wanting to edge deeper into ranked than placements, would I be well off to try Flex queue? I have heard it's less toxic overall.
